Hi, I’m Olga
The foundation of my tutoring prowess lies in my academic achievements during the IB program, a globally recognized and academically rigorous curriculum. I successfully completed the program with stellar scores of 7 in biology, 6 in chemistry, and a perfect 7 in Mathematics SL Analysis and Approaches. These accomplishments underscore not only my deep understanding of complex scientific subjects but also my ability to excel in the multidisciplinary challenges posed by the IB curriculum.
Furthermore, my academic journey took a pivotal turn when I secured admission into the Medical University in Wroclaw, a testament to my commitment to pursuing a career in the medical field. However, driven by a desire to experience the rich academic environment and cultural heritage of Italy, I subsequently transferred to the University of Bologna, one of the best Universities in Europe. This transition not only expanded my academic horizons but also honed my adaptability and resilience, qualities that I bring to my role as a tutor.
One of the most pivotal moments in my academic journey was undoubtedly the International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT), a standardized test required for admission to medical schools in Italy. Scoring an impressive 51 points on the IMAT reflects not only my in-depth knowledge of scientific principles but also my adeptness at strategic test-taking. This achievement serves as a testament to my ability to guide aspiring medical students through the intricacies of IMAT preparation, offering a roadmap to success in a highly competitive academic landscape.
My tutoring philosophy is rooted in the principle that each student is unique, with individual learning styles and strengths. I tailor my teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of my students, breaking down complex topics into digestible components and employing real-world examples to enhance comprehension. By nurturing a supportive and collaborative learning atmosphere, I empower students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and unlock their full academic potential.
As a tutor, I draw upon my rich academic background, practical experience, and innate ability to connect with students. Whether elucidating intricate biological processes, unraveling the complexities of chemical reactions, or guiding students through the nuances of IMAT preparation, I am committed to imparting not only knowledge but also the skills and mindset necessary for academic success.
In addition to my academic and teaching prowess, my journey as a medical student in a foreign country has equipped me with a unique perspective and a wealth of practical insights. I understand the challenges that students may face when navigating a new academic environment, and I am well-positioned to offer guidance on academic, cultural, and personal adjustments.
Ambitious and friendly student looking to help others ACE the IMAT!
As an Irish student, I found it difficult to find help for the exam as it didn’t seem like a popular choice amongst Irish school leavers. I’d love to pass on the wisdom I’ve gained from my own preparation to do well in the exam and getting into my dream course at the University of Turin to study Medicine.
From studying the clinical sciences at third level I’ve gained an in-depth knowledge of the topics covered in the IMAT. My teaching focuses on thorough understanding rather than learning by rote. No potential topic will be left uncovered and much focus will be given to topics that come up every year.
Having sat the exam twice and learned from my own mistakes I’ll provide tried and tested strategies to tackle the paper head-on!
Hi, I’m Raul!
I’m currently in fourth year at BSMS. So far I have helped students with UCAT, BMAT, IMAT, HUMAT and with their interview techniques. I have taught students from all across the world – including places like Japan, Qatar, Poland and many students from the UK.
At A-level, I did chemistry, biology and English literature which I found worked well for the essay components of the course. Getting the right balance between revising for A-levels and applying to medicine can be difficult but it is important to remember that both need focus.
I’m have just finished a BSc in Global health at the University of Manchester as a year out of medicine. As part of the course, I spent the whole of January in Mumbai completing my own research project. The course was really relaxed and it was a needed break from the intensity of medicine. I’d recommend choosing a uni course with the option to intercalate in case it’s something you might want to go for down the line.
I have loved medicine and I know the journey there is long and it can be difficult to see the end, but it is worth it. The degree is engaging and the work is manageable. It’s been some of the best years of my life and it’s a joy to watch students begin the same journey.
Hey! My name is Arjun and I’m a first-year medical student at UCL. Having just gone through my own medical application I look forward to helping you through every aspect of the process, whilst also sharing tips and techniques that my peers and I found useful throughout. I’m really grateful having received all the help I needed throughout my application at each stage, it really helped make me more confident when applying to medical schools so I hope I can help as many students as possible in the same way!
I understand that the process can be very stressful and lengthy, but I truly believe anyone with enough perseverance can get into medical school. From my experience, expressing yourself and reflecting on your own experiences, thoughts and opinions thoroughly will guarantee you a place at medical school.

Hello!
I am Feras, a 23-year old medical student from Lebanon. I currently study medicine at the University of Turin in Italy and I recently finished the fifth year of my long educational journey. I live in Turin with changing housemates, away from home. I am passionate about sciences, sports, and computers.
I have been a fan of sciences and inventions my whole life. During childhood, I spent a lot of time with engineering and working-with-hands activities such as assembling lego structures and helping my father build our house in our hometown. Growing up, I found myself being a rare fan of mathematics in middle and high school, alongside physics, chemistry, and biology. I loved them all to a point where I couldn’t even decide to which field I would base my higher studies.
Moving on, I only recently became a fan of sports, as I was terrible at everything requiring prolonged physical effort during my childhood. I have been playing table tennis semi-professionally since 2016 as well as running regularly for the past 2-3 years with a team in Beirut. I also adore hiking and all activities in nature in general. This is where I discover the macro-details of the world following the micro-details discovered with studied sciences. There is a serenity in forests and green places that cannot be explained by science.
Finally, computers and coding have been things of high interest to me forever. I did several coding projects during high school with HTML, C, C++, and Arduino. I also love pc-parts and watching pc build videos. Someday I’ll be building my own system, although I’m not a gamer 🙂
