The IMAT (International Medical Admissions Test) is a medical entrance exam for students who want to study medicine, dentistry or surgery at university in Italy in English.

The IMAT focuses a lot of your basic sciences and maths, so we recommend that you revise GCSE and A Level Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Maths to be safe. The Physics and Maths content come under the same section (Section 4), so you can revise these together.

You can take the IMAT in most major cities around the world. You will need to register through the Universitaly account you set up for the exam and pick a suitable centre near you. There is no real 'pass' score that you should aim for; most universities in Italy will use the IMAT as part of their consideration. That said, it is usually agreed that a good score is 45 and above.
