Hello and welcome to Medic Mind! My name is Amir and I am a 4th year medical student at St George’s university of London, which is a medical specialty university. After A-levels I did an undergraduate degree in Biomedicine, where I earned the position of the top 6% of my uni. Thus after a rigorous interview process I was awarded an offer to transfer directly into the 3rd year of medicine at St Georges, this transfer program is one of the last prestigious transfer schemes in the UK.

Like thousands of students each year, I was not able to enter Medicine initially after A-levels. This meant I had to find longer and more difficult alternative routes. However these experiences, alongside others, allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the holistic approach required to make a successful medical candidate. Therefore if chosen as your tutor, I can help you navigate the potholes that you may encounter in your revision process, interviews or whilst taking the exam.
