Davina

Hello everyone!

My name is Davina, and I’m a fifth-year medical student at the University of Leeds.

I have been in the position many of you are currently in, preparing for medical school interviews and writing personal statements. I remember being daunted at the start of the whole experience as a young student. Having been through this journey, I look forward to being able to help you fulfill your academic goals and give you the best shot at getting to where you want to be.

I have been teaching for medicine interviews, UCAT and BMAT for over 2 years and have guided dozens of students through their interview experience.

I have had experience teaching GCSE and A-level biology, chemistry, and psychology. I have also given interview advice to prospective medical students, ran ethical debate classes, and mock interviews.

I will always tailor my teaching to each student, and make myself available to answer and explain things at all hours- in and out of lessons. My teaching style is very adaptable and I can provide a more self-directed approach or a more hands-on approach depending on the student’s needs.
