About Me

Hi I’m Chloe! I am an experienced UCAT mentor, and am studying medicine at Newcastle university as my second degree.
I have undergone 2 years of applications myself gaining extensive experiences being interviewed both via zoom and in person MMIs. I have had an offer from every school I had an interview from, and have the feedback from my interviews on what I both did correct and incorrect. This means I have the experience but also the knowledge to correctly guide students through the interview stage of applications. I am able to assist in any part of the medicine/ dentistry interview process having undergone a medicine application myself and helping my sister who underwent a dentistry application. I have got extensive experience in tutoring and assisting students to achieve their maximal potential and hope I can continue this with any future students. I have done an A100 but also an A101 application cycle.

Interview tutoring:
I have got a 100% success rate at tutoring students to achieve an offer from at least 1 of their preferred universities, tutoring 8 students in the 22-23 application cycle. 25% of my students have achieved offers from all 4 universities.

UCAT tutoring:
I did the UCAT first in 2018 achieving the 86th decile and again in 2021 achieving the 96th decile. I have sat both the UCAT and UCATSEN so am able to tutor students on both exams. Having sat the UCAT twice I was able to implement some of my own teaching strategies to improve my own score.

Personal statement:
I have worked for the last 4 years on a volunteer basis helping students write their personal statements and have experience on what to write but also what not to write. I also have had conversations with doctors and dentists on the interview panels and know what they look for and like in a personal statement.

11+
I sat the 11+ as an entrance exam to my secondary school achieving high marks and getting accepted into both schools I sat the exam for.

My teaching style

I teach through a practical style rather than lecturing what should be done. My lessons will consist both of tips and tricks as well as practise questions to ensure what has been taught is taken on correctly.

My past experience

I have been helping applicants through their medical interviews since I was 19. Previously with the company I have tutored UCAT improving students scores from 140-430 points and have undergone interview tutoring and mocks to maximise students potential. I have got a 100% success rate in tutoring students for interviews having had every student achieve at least 1 offer.

My Proudest Achievements
