Hi I’m Lucy a Graduate Entry Dental student at Kings College London – originally from Brighton but have been London based for the last 5 years. I completed my undergraduate at UCL achieving a first class honours in Medical Innovation and Enterprise. I am very passionate about the sciences and working with people, so after my first degree decided I wanted to retrain so I could use my skills to help people. In my non academic time I am a coffee lover, bake cakes, and play netball for my university. I also love to travel so look forward to meeting any international students after also studying the IB at an international school and achieving 42/45 (HL – chemistry (6), biology (6) , psychology (7), A in EE ). I initially applied for medical degrees before figuring out what I wanted and ending up studying dentistry and couldn’t be happier with the path I took – a firm believer that everything will work out!
Depending on what suits you I am happy to provide more comprehensive lessons on subjects not well understood – however believe that active recall and application is the best way to improve and prepare specifically for examination periods. Lessons will be based largely on shorter recaps or subject specific lessons followed by examination questions from past papers or similar.
I have experience tutoring GCSE biology, chemistry and maths.
My proudest achievements to date would have to be being accepted into KCL for their graduate dental course and the person I have become along the way despite many challenges and roadbumps.
