About Me

Hello, I’m Basit an FY1 Doctor. I graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School. I have helped multiple students throughout their medical journey, securing them with interviews, offers, and guidance on their aptitude test. Additionally, I have experience tutoring preclinical Medicine (Years 1 & 2). I have developed techniques to help you pass your A-Levels, UCAT, BMAT, and interviews. I attained 3/4 offers from Kings, Keele (can help with R&R Form), and Brighton and have sat on interview panels at Brighton and Sussex Medical Schools. I can teach you all the core foundations you need to know to pass any Medical school interview no matter where it is and we can do mock MMIs. I have 7 years of tutoring experience and completed over 1000 hours.

I have a previous First Class degree in Clinical Science BSc (Hons) from The University of Bradford and took out a year to pursue the NHS Graduate Program in Business Management.

Last year 12/14 of my students attained an offer from their interview.

My teaching style

We will have a discussion initially to work out what you want to achieve from these sessions. Then I will plan a clear framework and objectives on which these will be based on. I will adapt my plan to suit your individual learning style, using a mixture of slides, flashcards, and an interactive problem-solving approach. Breaking down complex concepts will be made easy and I will teach you techniques to guide you through any situation on interviews and exams.
