About Me

Hi, I am Haider. I am a second year dentistry student at King’s College. I have lots of interview experience at many universities as I have applied 3 times. I have also scored highly in the UCAT, top 4% in 2024 and top 2% in 2025. I understand how much work goes into applying and what to expect. I previously did a degree in Medical Sciences which gave me a good foundation for my course. I also received offers from both medicine and dental schools which means that I have a great insight into the application processes for both subjects. Applying multiple times means I have experienced many interview circuits and I am able to tutor others to succeed. In my opinion the amount of work I have put in reflects the position I am in today and I hope I am able to share this with others. With all my experience I am sure I will be able to help you!

My teaching style

I teach in a friendly manner and adapt to the needs of each of my students. I am able to explain concepts in a number of ways and test the student to check their understanding. I think identifying weaknesses is where a lot of students fail and I am to tackle that. I have lots of experience working with a wide range of students so I am confident in my ability to teach anyone.

My past experience

Yes, I have tutored at a Kumon centre for over five years. Kumon is a well-known, international brand specialising in Maths and English tuition. Through working here aI gained experience working with a diverse range of children from different backgrounds. I gained the knowledge to manage the centre and not only communicate effectively with students but with parents. Relaying information to parents helps them to understand how their child is progressing and was a key thing I learnt in my time working here.

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievement was finally getting into dental school! Of course! I understand first-hand how intense the process can be and I was elated when my hard work finally paid off. I have many extracurricular achievements but I think many medicine and dental students will relate when I say that this was the most important.
