I am a qualified optometrist with experience tutoring A-level Chemistry and Biology, as well as providing interview preparation for Medicine, Dentistry and Optometry applicants. I also offer academic support for optometry students.

Having completed my optometry degree and pre-registration training, I have developed strong skills in patient communication, clinical problem-solving and applying theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. This allows me to teach in a way that is both academically thorough and practically relevant, helping students to truly understand concepts rather than memorise them.

I am enthusiastic about learning and passionate about sharing knowledge in a clear and supportive way. My tutoring style is structured but adaptable, focusing on each student’s individual needs, whether that is building confidence, improving exam technique, or preparing for competitive interviews.

Alongside my academic and clinical background, I have experience working in a variety of roles which has strengthened my organisation, professionalism and ability to work with people from different backgrounds. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
