My teaching style

As a medical professor, my teaching style is anchored in a commitment to fostering a transformative learning experience that equips future healthcare professionals with not only the necessary knowledge but also the critical skills and empathetic mindset required in the medical field.

My approach hinges on three pillars:
1. Engaged Learning: I firmly believe that learning is most effective when students are actively engaged. I employ a variety of teaching techniques, such as case-based discussions, problem-solving sessions, and hands-on simulations, to immerse students in real-world medical challenges. By grappling with authentic scenarios, students develop analytical thinking, decision-making abilities, and a holistic understanding of patient care.
2. Patient-Centered Perspective: Every medical encounter centers around the patient. I emphasize the significance of compassionate care and effective communication through role-playing exercises that simulate patient interactions. Through regular journal clubs, seminars, and research discussions, I nurture a culture of ongoing learning that extends beyond the classroom and into their future medical practice.
