I’m a dental student at the University of Manchester, and I’m from Lincolnshire. In my GCSEs I achieved 9s in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and an 8 in Biology. I was also able to do my A Level biology in 1 year and get an A* grade. I acquired 4/4 interview invitations and got a score of 3050 in my UCAT. I have spent the last couple of years speaking to my colleagues about their applications, both successful ones and unsuccessful ones. This has given me a very good understanding of what makes a good Dental/Medical school application, and I am hoping to help you craft your perfect university application. Also, I am fluent in three languages (Arabic, Polish and English), and have lived in four different countries (UK, Poland, Jordan and Palestine). I also have 4 younger siblings of varying ages, who I’ve spent my whole life helping with schoolwork and so I have developed the skills needed for tutoring.
I like to work closely with the student and relate the teaching specifically to the aspects you struggle with. I know it’s easy to put off learning the difficult parts, which makes it a key point. It would be ideal if you could tell me which topic you would like covered ahead of the session so I can prepare to make the session as efficient as possible, but I appreciate that’s not always possible.
Achieving a place in a top Dental school, having to balance doing an A level in one year while completing my application, after many told me it’s not possible and that I’m stupid for trying.
