About Me

Hi! My name is Harini and I am a 2nd year Dental Student at Cardiff University. I currently tutor GCSE and A Level Biology, GCSE and A Level Chemistry and Dental Interviews. I attained 3A* at A Level (studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry) and all 9’s at GCSE, and I would love the opportunity to help students reach their full potential and/or attain their goal of getting a place in Dental school! Being a tutor is not just providing advice academically but also advice on how to maintain a balance between studying and taking rest! So I’m here to help with any academic questions but also any questions on how to keep up with a busy schedule while studying for A Levels, practising for interviews, volunteering and so much more! Having some previous experience as a tutor I’ve learnt to communicate well with students and I’m really looking forward to passing on tips and tricks about what I learnt during my A Level experience!

My teaching style

I like teaching interactively using diagrams and PowerPoints while explaining concepts in a simple way and provide tips to remember the large volume of content. Being a student whose just completed my A Levels and my Dental Interviews, I have the knowledge, advice and experience (through my previous tutoring roles too) to help other students who were in the position I was in.

My past experience

Previously I have tutored students at a private company and through this experience I have developed my skills to tailor my methods of teaching to each students. One method of teaching doesn’t always work for every student therefore I am able to provide a range of different memorising techniques, revision methods and websites and students can find works best for them!

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievement is attaining a place in Dental school and my A Level grades!
