4About Me
Hi, Iโm Balawal I’m a third year dental student at Newcastle university , and Iโll be your tutor. I specialise in biology and chemistry and Iโve been working with A Level students for 3 years now, helping them not only improve their understanding of the subject but also develop the skills and confidence they need to perform well in exams, UCAT and interviews.
My approach is really interactive, I want this to be a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and stretching your thinking. Weโll focus on your goals, whether thatโs improving your grades, preparing for interviews, or just feeling more confident with the subject. Iโll be giving you strategies and support, but Iโll also expect you to engage actively and reflect on your progress. My aim is to work together to help achieve your academic goals.
My teaching style
I emphasize clarity in explanation, breaking down difficult topics into manageable components while maintaining a high level of academic thoroughness. I regularly assess understanding through discussion, formative assessment, and past-paper practice, tailoring my approach based on individual student progress.
My past experience
I have been tutoring since I started university at a company called London science college and I still tutor there part time.
My Proudest Achievements
From a teaching point of view my proudest achievement would be helping other students get into med and dentistry and helping them get grades needed in a levels .

- in maths and 8s in all sciences.
