14About Me
Hi! My name is Louise and I have just finished studying Biology, Geography and Chemistry at A-level achieving A*A*A*. I currently study at Kent and Medway Medical school. I had a tutor myself in Chemistry and hope to pass on the knowledge I gained in Chemistry but also the other subjects onto you. Additionally, I love learning science so hope to be able to pass on my passion by making the lessons enjoyable, inspiring and a relaxed environment where you feel free to ask any questions.
I would love to tutor you whether it be a science subject, Geography or with interview prep. Aside, from studying and tutoring I enjoy water sports in particular kayaking. I have had experience tutoring over the last five years and if you would like me to tutor you then please donโt hesitate to get in contact.
My teaching style
Depending on the subject if it is an academic subject then I like the student to tell me in advance what they would like to go over this week. Then I start the lesson asking the tutee what they know and use the whiteboard to fill gaps in knowledge from there. Finally, finish the lesson with exam questions as to achieve in the exams you need to not only understand the knowledge but be able to apply the knowledge in unfamiliar situations.
My past experience
I have tutored over the last five years online in GCSE science and A level Chemistry. My most recent pupil test grade has gone from a C to an A so I hope to do the same with you.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is when my current tutee said and I quote โYour the only thing getting me through A-Level Chemistryโ.
