Charles University Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen is one of the five faculties of Charles University in Prague, which is the oldest and largest university in the Czech Republic. The Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen was founded in 1945 and has since become one of the most renowned medical schools in the country. Medical Programmes Offered

The Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen offers several medical programmes, including a six-year program in General Medicine, a five-year program in Dentistry, and a three-year program in Physiotherapy. The faculty also offers postgraduate programmes in various medical specialisations, such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Specialisation courses (Years 2-3): Intensive care nursing, emergency nursing, paediatrics nursing, and more.

Physiotherapy Programme (3 years)

  • Basic medical sciences (Year 1): Anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and kinesiology.
  • Specialisation courses (Years 2-3): Manual therapy, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and more.

Admissions Requirements

To apply to the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, prospective students must meet the following requirements:
