Overview
Formed from a collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent, the brand new Kent and Medway Medical School took its first cohort in September 2020. The aim is to build on the already existing high-quality clinical teaching and research strengths across the two universities to deliver high quality education to future doctors. The course offers clinical placements from the very first stages of the course, with students meeting their first patients soon after starting.
KMMS places an emphasis on UCAT scores. Applicants meeting the minimum academic requirements (see below) are ranked by UCAT score in order to shortlist candidates for interview.
