University of Warwick (Graduate Entry)
The University of Warwick Medical School is the only medical school in England (and one of only two in the UK) to admit only graduate students. This provides a unique learning environment as students come from various backgrounds, bringing their own different strengths and prior experiences to the course. Another benefit is a course designed specifically for graduates, with the integration of clinical placements and small group learning (case base learning) allows graduates to draw on each others strengths and learn from one another. Warwick is the largest graduate-entry programme in the UK with an annual intake of 193 students.
The University of Warwick have strict work experience requirements, totalling 70 hours (approx 2 weeks of full-time work) of direct hands-on care within the four 2 years. Evidence in the form of a signed reference must be provided alongside your application. Applicants who meet both the minimum academic requirements and fulfil the work experience requirements are shortlisted for interview based on UCAT score. Therefore Warwick is an ideal choice for graduates with strong work experience and good UCAT scores.
