In your Work Experience, UCAS, and Interviews school, you will have regular virtual work experience (including talks from doctors, surgeons and GPs). The weekly sessions also cover NHS hot topics, healthcare discussions, UCAS application planning, motivation and support through key UCAS deadlines, and more. From June-September, we will have primarily WEX and UCAS sessions. From October onwards we will have Interview sessions.
In this class, we address the frequently asked interview question of “Why Medicine?” which is a popular topic for MMI universities. It is common for interviewers to extensively question candidates on this particular topic. Additionally, we delve into other related subjects such as the various specialties within medicine, the essential duties of a doctor, and the significance of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
