Hello everyone! I’m Peehu, and I am a Graduate Entry Medicine student. My journey into medicine has been both challenging and rewarding, filled with valuable lessons and experiences that have shaped me. As a graduate myself, I understand the unique challenges that come with pursuing medicine after completing a different degree.
Throughout my own application process, I discovered effective strategies and learned tips that were instrumental in securing my place. Now, I am passionate about sharing these insights to help other graduates and students navigate the competitive landscape of university admissions. Whether it’s tackling the UCAT, perfecting personal statements, or mastering interview techniques, I aim eager to provide practical advice that can make a significant difference in achieving your goals.
My teaching style
My teaching style involves encouraging students to actively participate through discussions, mock interviews, and problem-solving exercises and to utilize interactive tools such as online quizzes and flashcards. I will set clear learning objectives for each session to ensure students know what to expect, what they should achieve and provide personalized feedback to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement. I will use real-world scenarios and case studies to help students apply their knowledge and provide ample practice tests and mock interviews to build confidence and familiarity with the format all while using positive reinforcement to build students’ confidence.
My past experience
I have had previous experience tutoring A level and GCSE students with tutorhouse giving me appropriate skills for this task!
My Proudest Achievements
Completing a biomedical science bachelors degree, achieving an upper second class honors, along side completing the requirements needed for medicine (such as UCAT and interview) was challenging but I have been able to learn so much from the journey and is one of my proudest moments!
