Hello! My name is James and I am a current medical student in my final years and previous specialty scientist! I have tutored for a number of years with students of many age ranges, particularly in the areas of science and mathematics. Practicing as a specialty scientist within the medical diagnostic field, I have a broad knowledge or biology and chemistry as well as from my previous masters degree in biochemistry (1st Class Hons). Currently I am accepting students who are embarking on their journey to become a doctor to aid in their application, interview and subsequent tests they may face. I have particular interest in intensive care medicine and focus on reflecting ethically and principally on patient care. This is an essentially component to the MMI and panel interview, understanding holistic care and ethical principles aside your likely keen scientifically orientated mind is crucial to passing the medical school interview.

GAMSAT teaching is not currently being offered as I am currently oversubscribed with GAMSAT students
My teaching style
A 3-step programme is best to keep you at your best in terms of exam an interview performace. This process is as follows:

3๏ธโฃ Observed and/or assesed questions
Students also find that past papers particularly for GAMSAT, UCAT, A-levels and GCSEs are very helpful.
My past experience
As mentioned before, I have tutored A-level and GCSE students in Science and Mathematics since 2018. I have begun teaching for medical school applications since 2021.
