3About Me
Hi, my name is Anastasia and I am a fourth year dental student at Cardiff university. I am extremely keen to help other students applying to dental schools receive offers, as I understand from first hand experience how scary it can be! By following a structured and consistent learning approach, interviewing for university will come much more easily to you, with improved confidence and skills to ace it.
A little more about me – I would say I am a hardworking, ambitious and most of all determined individual who thrives in a fast paced environment. I very much enjoy passing down knowledge to those going through the same overwhelming stages of applying to university. My experiences in customer service, piano and greek tutoring, have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure student happiness and satisfaction is maintained throughout.
Additionally, I am quite flexible with lesson, so please let me know if you are interested and we can discuss regularity.
My teaching style
I aim to tailor the lessons to individual students, working through different powerpoint resources to cover all sections of the interview tasks. I aim to keep the lessons interesting whilst packing in a wide range of knowledge, advice and interview tactics to enhance student skillset and confidence for interviews.
My past experience
I tutored piano to young but high level students, helping them achieve grades. This required communication and creativity with teaching methods, of which I adapted to different ages. I also currently tutor Greek to a range of different levels, again requiring tailored lesson planning to suit different learning styles and levels.
My Proudest Achievements
Receiving offers from 2 universities for Dentistry and 1 for Dental Hygiene. Winner of 2 music competitions during my time at school. Academic and music scholar at school. Receiving ABRSM grade 8 piano and working towards my diploma. Receiving grade 8 singing and grade 6 cello too.
