Hi! I’m Kirandeep Kaur, a fourth-year medical student at Aston Medical School with over four years of experience tutoring students for medical school interviews and A-Level/GCSE exams.
As a dedicated and passionate educator, I’ve helped dozens of aspiring medical students gain confidence and succeed in their MMIs and panel interviews. Having conducted multiple mock interviews myself, I understand exactly what admissions tutors are looking for — from communication skills and ethical reasoning to structuring clear, confident answers under pressure.
My sessions focus on realistic MMI practice, personalised guidance, and detailed feedback. I provide written feedback after sessions where needed (often compiled after re-watching recordings), ensuring that each student knows precisely how to improve before their next practice.
I also have a strong background in A-Level and GCSE tutoring, particularly in helping students master challenging content when teaching in school feels too fast-paced. I know how tough it can be to stay motivated and keep up, which is why I take time to explain topics clearly, strengthen foundational knowledge, and build exam-style confidence.
Above all, I aim to create a supportive, engaging, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving continuously. My goal is not just to teach content — but to help every student feel confident, capable, and ready to achieve their goals.
I try my best to teach in different ways until I figure out what approach works best for each students as each student has a different learning style so I do my best to accommodate. I also like to make sure that students get as much practice and feedback on a variety of stations, in order to prepare them for their MMI interviews.
I have been tutoring since 2021 up to now. I have helped dozens of students through the medicine interview process and worked with many students through their A levels as well.
Over time, I have accumulated over 400 hours of experience in tutoring.
I also have been part of many MMI circuits so I have a great understanding of what universities are looking for in a potential medical student.
I was delighted to be a Head Girl in secondary school and in sixth form.
Being accepted to study medicine.
Completing Duke of Edinburgh Award Bronze and Silver.
Achieving A,A,A* in my A-Levels.
I have helped dozens of students receive offers from Aston, Birmingham and other universities.
