Hi there!
Hope you’re well, I am Keith, a second year graduate entry medical student studying on the ScotGEM programme (University of St. Andrews & University of Dundee). Prior to medicine, I studied a Dual Hnrs Bsc Biochemistry and Biology at Keele University before moving to Scotland for my medical journey. I have been a Support Worker for over 7 years working with people with learning disabilities.
Before ScotGEM, I had applied for Medicine multiple times over the past 4 years, multiple UKCAT/GAMSAT sittings, personal statements and mock interviews. I can appreciate how difficult the whole process can be! Hopefully with the experiences in my application, my undergraduate degree and my current journey in Medicine. I can help you learn and establish the necessary foundations to approach questions, learn exam technique and how to approach revision to hopefully aid you in getting that offer.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Keith ๐
With the nature of online teaching, I like to ensure my teaching style is very visual, using online presentations and collaborative whiteboards to explain subject theories, how questions should be approached. I like to incorporate the use of videos but more importantly identify the student’s own learning style so I can make a more personalised way of teaching, to maximise and effectively use our time spent!
I have been a previous GCSE Maths tutor during my college years.
Having the dedication and resilience in applying to Medicine over the years despite countless rejections, to end up receiving 3 interviews and 2 unconditional offers!
