7About Me
Hey there! I’m Harriet, a 3rd-year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Nottingham. Ever since I was a little, I’ve had an aspiration to care for animals and make a difference in their lives, and now that I’m making that happen, I want to offer my support and guidance to others who share the same dream.
During my application process as a graduate, I secured interview offers from Liverpool, Nottingham and RVC, which has given me valuable insights into a wide range of interview styles and what universities are really looking for in personal statements.
I’m incredibly passionate about helping other aspiring vets- I love to pass on my experiences and knowledge and help others secure their spot in this amazing career. From polishing up personal statements to getting prepped for interviews, whether it’s MMI or panel style, I’ve got you covered.
As a graduate applicant, I understand how overwhelming it can be to tackle the whole application without much guidance. I’m here to be the mentor I wished I had back then, offering tips and support to anyone feeling a bit lost in the application maze.

My teaching style
I like to empower students in discovering their own abilities and potential. I guide applicants in unearthing their experiences and using these to help develop personal and reflective responses that encourage individuality and help them to stand out during vet school personal statements and interviews.
As for GCSE and A-Level tutoring, I like to use various styles which make complex topics more accessible and memorable for students. I enjoy using visual aids to talk through examples and then encourage active recall and self learning so that students can really consolidate their learning and develop a deeper understanding of the topics and concepts.
My past experience
I have experience in guiding students through personal statement writing, interview preparation and have paneled both mock MMI and traditional style veterinary medicine interviews. I have tutored several students who have now gone on to secure interviews and places at their prospective universities.
I also have over 3 years of experience in teaching Dance and Gymnastics.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is defintely getting into Nottingham Vet School. Most recently I have graduated the first part of my degree achieving a First class degree in Veterinary Sciences. I will be starting my 4th year studies soon, I can’t believe how quickly the time flies by in Vet school!
