6About Me
Hi there, my name is Harry! I am a highly experienced GAMSAT tutor. I have taught students for 2 years, including 1 to 1 teaching and seminars throughout the year. I am also tutoring the new GAMSAT sessions starting this summer (currently enrolling). I am one of the contributing creators/ designers of the Medic Mind GAMSAT online course. Having successfully been accepted to medicine after my first attempt of this exam, I have made it my mission to help as many students as possible to achieve their goal of studying medicine. I have helped many students in the UK and Ireland succeed in this daunting exam through rigorous structured tutorials and strategic analysis of questions. I cover all three sections of the exam, and set regular targets and homework between sessions to ensure students are on pace to achieve high grades in ALL THREE SECTIONS. If you are willing to put in the work, I will help you achieve very competitive GAMSAT scores.
My teaching style
With a strong scientific background, I teach my students to have a methodical approach to this exam. We will scrutinise sample papers and formulate tailored strategies for tackling questions. This includes being selective in the order in which you complete the paper, identifying questions that should be left until the end, and being well prepared for specific styles of questions that often trick GAMSAT students. I make a point of focussing on students’ weakest sections, be it I, II or III. With my experience, I have seen many iterations of questions asked on similar topics. As my student, you will be well equipped to go into the exam feeling confident in your trained ability to score highly
My Proudest Achievements
– Representing the University of Limerick as a medical student speaking at the Council of Europe regarding ‘AI in healthcare’
– Being voted in as a committee member of the Medical Society, looking after a cohort of 600+ members
– Finishing top 3 in my undergraduate degree class
– Getting accepted to medical school on my first attempt
– NB: seeing my students get accepted to medical school after months of preparation for the GAMSAT
