Hi, my name is Louisa!
I am a fourth-year medical student currently studying at King’s College London. I am very passionate about tutoring and inspiring students to pursue their interests in the sciences. I tutor KS3, GCSE sciences, A-level Chemistry, and A-level Biology. I am also happy to help with medical school and science degree applications including interview preparation, personal statements, UCAT, and general advice.
I remember how confusing it can be applying for medicine and trying to manage all the aspects of writing your personal statement to preparing your UCAT and interview questions. I am a friendly face who remembers how hard this is and I am equipped with tips and tricks to give you the best chance of success.

My teaching style
In my teaching, I am friendly and want these lessons to be something you enjoy! I love teaching science and talking about medicine and I hope that I can help you achieve your goals. I put a large focus on exam technique as this is where many students lose marks and will ensure you understand the content with diagrams and clear explanations. You should never be afraid to ask a question or ask me to explain something again! I’m always happy to help.
My past experience
I have been tutoring since 2018 with more than 1500 hours of experience. I have tutored over 50 students studying for a wide range of exam boards.
My Proudest Achievements
Obviously, I am proud of reaching 4th year of medicine! But also I am proud of the many students I have helped with exams. My proudest achievement however would be getting to 16384 in 2048 game!!
