Iona

Hi there! I am Iona I am a second year post graduate medical student at University of St Andrews. I completed my nursing degree prior to coming to medicine so I have extensive knowledge of how the healthcare system operates and the importance of multidisciplinary team working. I am super friendly, approachable and bubbly- I am a true believer in no question is a silly question- if you are thinking it I have probably asked it myself! I did 5 higher at school, achieved 5 As, 3Bs at advanced higher, a first class honours degree in Nursing from University of Edinburgh. In my first year of medical school I came top of my class. I also took a year out in between school and my first undergraduate degree so where I worked in recruitment and went travelling! I have always been very passionate about extracurricular activities, I am an avid sports player (particularly hockey and running!!).
