6About Me
Hi, my name is Aisha! I am a second year medical student at Anglia Ruskin University and aspire to be an outstanding doctor in the future.
Having gone through the tough process of GCSE’s, A-Levels and applying for medicine myself, I appreciate the difficulties and mistakes they come with. Using everything I have learnt from my experience I apply my knowledge to support students to be successful on their journey to medicine too.
I greatly enjoyed biology and chemistry at GCSE’s and A-Level, and I love sharing my passion with my students.
Assisting GCSE, A-Level and prospecting medical students, is something which always excites me. Being a part of my students’ success is incredibly rewarding and something I continuously look forward to. I welcome any questions and confusions my students have and always do my best to offer appropriate advice based on my own experiences.
My teaching style
I aim to be an approachable and engaging tutor in my lessons so that my students are not only retaining their knowledge, but also having fun!
I also incorporate a variety of styles to best suit each student.
My past experience
I have 3 years of tutoring all ages from KS2 to A-Level, as well as tutoring medical students, starting at a tuition centre where I was trained and also privately where I adapted different methods of tutoring to create a formula I believe is very effective in helping my students achieve their academic goals.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements start at winning a runner up award at the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge where I created a business plan and pitched it to a panel of renowned judges in front of an audience. I was also a part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets for two years, where I built several skills and achieved multiple certificates and badges.
Of course, my proudest achievement of all is being successful in my GCSE’s and A-Levels, and getting through to medical school and I look forward to turning this achievement into my life-long career!
