Nahbi

Hi there!
My name is Nahbi and I am a 3rd year Medical student at Cardiff University. Though I’m of Nigerian descent, I’ve always been a city boy having grown up in Leicester. I studied at the grammar school in Leicester where I took maths, chemistry, biology and philosophy at A-level and in the second year of this course, I was the head boy at the school.

As well as Cardiff, I applied to three other city based Medical schools: Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield. I secured offers from all these universities but ultimately chose Cardiff as I believe the spiral course structure taught in Cardiff suits me best. Whilst not studying, I spend a lot of time training for athletics and I compete for my university in the horizontal jumps.

I am quite a gregarious character and love meeting new people. I like to take a very positive, light-hearted approach to life and am always eager to discover new ways have fun. I also love learning new things and continuously look for ways to improve the way I learn which is something I am looking forward to share!
