Hi, I’m Nitya, a 2nd year medical student at UEA and a Biomedical Sciences BSc (Hons) first-class graduate from KCL.
Having an untraditional pathway into medicine myself and being successful on my second attempt, I realise the increasing pressures of getting into medicine and the importance of having a strong application.
Within the past few years, I have helped many of my family friends get their dream medical school offers by carefully tailoring their personal statements and helping them stand out at their interviews.
Allow me to guide you using key techniques such as having a good structure, signposting and displaying the soft-skills they’re looking for in a doctor amongst many others which will help you flourish.
It would be my pleasure to work with you and together we can achieve this collective dream!
My teaching style
My teaching style will include practice Qs and mocks followed by my feedback and advice on what to do better next time. Practising and creating an environment that is as close to the real interview is proven to be the best way to deliver your optimal performance when it matters.
My past experience
I have tutored many students from KS3, 11+, GCSE (sciences, maths & english) and A-level Biology for the past 5+ years.
My Proudest Achievements
When my students gain their confidence and are able to get into their dream universities or grammar schools. They have also been able to acheive great grades (8/9 at GCSE or A/A*s at A-levels) which are sometimes 3/4 grades higher than when they started.
