Razan

Hello, my name is Razan Algazlan a final year medical student studying at Queen Mary University of London. I’ve always been passionate about helping others which is why I chose to be a doctor in the first place, my experience in applying for medicine was very tough and I know how hard it can be to not only be sure enough that you want to be a doctor but what you should do to make sure that you stand out from hundreds of candidates!

I have always loved Science which is also why I tutor part time alongside my studies. I did not have the best teachers back in school which gave me a difficult time but I had learned independence quite early on which had worked in my favour and has prepared me well for studying in university.

I work with my university as a Student Ambassador on Open and Interview Days for the last 3 years which had helped me gain a lot of experience in what my university is looking for and will potentially attend panel interviews starting this Semester. I look forward to meeting some of you there!
