7About Me
(ill start by saying that i have dyslexia so don’t give too much weight for typos…)
my name is raz adasha I am 31 years old.
used to be in the IDF special forces after that i own a financial consultant business and when i was 28 i decided to make a change in my life and try to apply for medical school (been a long dream of mine but the going back to school was something i DID NOT WANT TO DO EVER AGAIN)
I started to study for the IMAT without any type of background in since (i stopped going to school at the 10th grade, but did finish all my exams with okay score but i was set for military and then for business school wasn’t in my overall plan)I scored 50 on my IMAT finishing around the 5th percentile (one of my college in uni told me that is my precentail)after that i started studying At parma on the first ever english course that is held in the city of piacenza (so that mean that we did not have anyone to ask question about what we need to do no seniors) on the first semester i failed ALL of my exams and ended doing all of them again (finishing with average score of 25\30) the second semester i finish of of my exams first on class (on the first try without failing) with a score of 30\30 (final score was 27\30)
My teaching style
in the last 2 years since i started i’ve taught myself all the subjects that i neede to get accepted to med school (critical thinking, biology, chemistry, physics & math) after that all the first year med school subjects (genetics, molecular biology, histology, statistical, physics, chemistry, anatomy and biochemistry)
my teaching stay will be helping you to undered how to self motivate yourself to build your ability to keep long duration of study and how to WORK EFFECTIVELY in order to make sure you will be able to LEARN THE MOST MATERIAL IN THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME. I can help with tricks to memorise (memory palace ect) also how to revise your material EFFECTIVELY (anki ect’)
My past experience
In the army i was a company sergeant major (CSM) so i was incharge of 200 people
On my financial consultant company i was training my employees everything from motivation to how the financial market work
(overall i have around 8 years with training and teaching people)
My Proudest Achievements
* accepted to very selective unit in the IDF (20 out of 800 get accepted)
*losing 50 kilo in 5 months without personal trainer or any outside help
* being accepted to med school without any background and outside help (self taught using only the internet)
* finishing all of my first year in med school before all of the rest of my class (One of my class mate of the 2nd highest IMAT score of that years)
* having brown belt in BJJ and having black belt level in few others martial arts
