3About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Fatima and I’m a fourth year dental student studying at Queen’s University Belfast. I’m Iraqi and I come from Dubai, and I’ve always wanted to study dentistry in the UK. I achieved A*A*A for A-levels and 7A*s and 3 As for iGCSE. Having been in your shoes before, I know that submitting your applications to UCAS is daunting, but what you need to think of now are your interviews and how you’ll smash them! 🤩 When I received my offer, I was extremely happy but nervous at the same time, so I thought going for a course with Medic Mind would be the best option to prepare me and boost my confidence for interview day! And it sure did! Now that I am in dental school, I really want to help prospective students reach their full potential in their interviews and get into their dream course, and that’s why I’m here ☺️
My teaching style
We will first start off with the basic essential questions for example ‘Why dentistry?’ and try and build up and consolidate your answer. We will then go through a variety of questions and let you answer them, and I will give you feedback on your answer and tell you how you could improve.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proud moments was when I achieved the highest grade for GCSE Biology in my class, but my proudest achievement is actually getting into dental school! It really is a draining process but it is worth it at the end!
