1About Me
Hi! My name is Clara, and I’m a 4th Year Medical Student at UEA. I sat the UCAT, not the BMAT, and received offers from UEA, Cardiff and Liverpool. I achieved all A*s at GSCE and AAA at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and History. I enjoy teaching Biology at GSCE and sometimes A-level! I have been a volunteer at In2MedSchool for 3 years, which is a charity that helps students get into Medical School, and have helped 3 students through this programme. I have helped these students with personal statement ideas, work experience and interview prep. I can also offer advice about the practical aspect of being a university student!
I am keen to encourage students to use their time well with good time management, whilst still finding time for activities outside of academics. I am on the 1st XV Women’s Rugby Team at UEA and a keen runner, so I like to see students pursue other interests.
My teaching style
I tend to be more chatty and informal, helping students with not just academics but other aspects of attending university. I am a big advocate for past paper questions and spaced repetition. I would work well with students who need assistance with specific areas within topics.
