Hi, My name is Hamayl and I am a second year dental student at Kings College London. I am excited to help you secure the place you deserve at your dream dental school!
With a proven track record of achievements, I am well-equipped to provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed. I am a top-performing UCAT taker, having achieved a score of 2970, placing me in the top 5% of all test-takers in my year. This accomplishment showcases not only my proficiency in the UCAT but also my ability to share effective strategies that can help you ace the exam. Moreover, I was also successful in securing 4 out of 4 dental school offers. Navigating through dental school interviews is a complex task, and my experience and insights into this process will be invaluable in preparing you to present yourself confidently and impress your interviewers.
In addition to my expertise in UCAT and dental interviews, I have a strong foundation in Chemistry and Biology. I have not only excelled in these subjects personally but also extended my knowledge and skills to tutoring. Through my guidance, numerous students have enhanced their understanding of these subjects and sharpened their exam techniques, resulting in outstanding grades of 8s and 9s. My teaching style
My teaching style is supportive and personalised, every student is unique, I aim to understand what works for them, from delivery of lectures using visual aids to demonstrating techniques. This approach allows me to facilitate your learning as a student in the best possible way.
My past experience
During my time in sixth form, I gained valuable tutoring experience while teaching GCSE Chemistry. This opportunity enhanced my communication skills, enabled me to tailor my teaching methods to different learning styles, and reinforced my ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable segments. My experience as a tutor has also allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills and create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is getting 4/4 of my dental school offers after persevering through a challenging year of disruptions because of the pandemic. However aside from academic achievements I am proud to have been elected as vice-captain for my hockey team this year.
