Hi there! My name is Raunaque (Row-nak) and I’m a current 3rd year dental student at King’s College London (KCL) with a naturally engaging personality and proactive attitude. I take pride in helping applicants with the application process and tailoring it to them to ensure that they can showcase their strengths!
I am easy to talk to and available whenever you require help! The process of getting into your dream university to study dentistry/medicine takes an extensively tedious amount of work (as you may know!) and I will be there every step of the way to best prepare you to have the correct mindset to ensure that you can get your offers!
I will be teaching you on how to best prepare for your UCAT and interviews and will provide my upmost effort. I have had interviews from KCL, Barts/QMUL, and University of Manchester and therefore have been exposed to both traditional panel and MMI-panel style questions. I will be providing you tips on, not only, how to communicate verbally, but also non-verbally which is essential to make a good impression.
I have achieved a score of 2730, band 1 (Top 20%) in my UCAT, with a score of 730 in QR and 750 in AR. I will be teaching you all the tips and give you advice on how to keep on time to increase the chances of you getting a competitive score!
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to speaking to you soon!
My teaching style is person-centred and I will be focusing more on what you require, rather than what I want to teach. This is important as it will maximise our chances of strengthening the student’s abilities as the student is at the heart of the lesson. We will both come up with a plan and tailor it to the student through the use of ‘aims’ and ‘needs’ before every lesson to ensure we do not miss out on areas that can be improved.
