My name is Rahul Patel and I am a second year Dental Student at the University of Birmingham. I have invaluable knowledge and experience to provide you with everything you may need to achieve your dentistry offer at your select universities.
My GCSE and A level qualifications are excellent, and I am available for Maths and Chemistry Tutoring. I also offer advice and tutoring on how to improve your UCAT and BMAT scores when taking aptitude tests towards your interview. Having achieved an average of 737.5 in the UCAT and a total score of 16.8A in the BMAT, I am certain that I can help you greatly towards attaining your dental interview.
I have a wealth of experience and information regarding the interview processes of dental Universities, including specific achievement types each university value greatest, interview styles and contents for each university, personal statement development to most appeal towards the four universities and much more. I can also give insights in each dental course per university, from my own personal experiences and others to ensure you make the best decision when firming and insuring.
My best advice for you if you want to maximize your chances of getting your best offer is to start as early as you can – it is never too early to prepare!!
My teaching style
I will firstly find out everything about you that can contribute towards increasing your performance towards UCAS, and create a teaching plan accordingly to strengthen your future UCAS application. This includes tutoring in weaker areas, deciding on any future opportunities to take to increase your super/extra-curricular, prepare in advance for your aptitude tests and revise towards your interviews
My past experience
I do have a lot of past teaching experience, particularly towards dentistry applications. I have already helped four sixth form students in achieving their dentistry offers, from revising their personal statements to increasing their UCAT/BMAT scores and even refining their interview techniques to maximize their chances of being selected for an offer.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements are as follows:
– Getting into the University of Birmingham for dentistry, as this showcases my competence in what I will be helping you with. Furthermore, this is from firsthand experience that I achieved myself, so you can only build up upon that
– Grade 8 in Piano and 7 in Theory. This is because that the piano is something I have always enjoyed playing, and focusing my mind onto something or years created a valuable skill that is lifelong and transferrable, especially towards the manual dexterity of a dentist
– a 1st dan black belt in karate. This demonstrates a tenacious spirit and driven mindset. With these two, anything is possible to achieve, and shows a dedication towards a goal that is not easily reached
