13About Me
Hi, my name is Sarthak and I am a second year medical student studying at the university of Leeds! Tutoring is a role I find very rewarding and I wish to share my experiences and knowledge to make a real difference to a student’s life.
When applying to medical school I received 3A*s at A Levels and all 4/4 offers from Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool and Keele. Having been through the long application process, I am very aware of challenges and pressures that students face so I know that I can help guide people to overcome the same obstacles. This would include specific advice and personal experience in helping with the interview, UCAT, BMAT, personal statement, A-levels and GCSE. With my journey into medical school I also made mistakes, so I would also like to share my experience in-order to avoid other people repeating and falling into these common traps. My experience involves being an online tutor for over 1 year and I also make YouTube videos where I have helped many people in getting into medical school.
My teaching style
In terms of my tutoring style, I like to make sure that my students are constantly engaged in terms of answering questions but are still comfortable and having fun. I make lessons focussed on helping the individual where there is an open environment in which you can ask questions and also be challenged.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement was working really hard to receive all 4 of my medical school offers.
