Edge Hill University
The first intake of medical students at Edge Hill University will be in 19/20, so you will be one of the first students to graduate from Edge Hill with a medical degree. Each year of the course focuses on a specific overarching theme, enabling students to learn about all aspects of becoming a doctor including social and psychological context of health and illness, which is essential for future doctor. Benefit from placements in the North West of England, which provides a range of clinical settings.
Scoring well in the UCAT is essential if you wish to be invited to interview. Students who score in the top 15-30 candidates at interview will be automatically offered a place. Personal statements and references will be used to distinguish between borderline applicants.

Candidates who meet the minimum academic criteria will be ranked according to their UCAT score (alone), and a UCAT threshold will be set depending on the number of interviews to be help.
Candidates scoring within band 4 of the SJT section of the UCAT will be automatically rejected.
